How are you guy's liking the new BoH? I just started getting into them with "Cease to Begin" and am looking forward to getting the new one.

It's my first experience with them, but I like it a lot. But, that's only after about 2 listens, and albums take time with me. I'd put it solidly at 3 starts (out of 4) right now, with the possibility to go up.

I'm searching through my collection to re-visit music I haven't listened to in a long time. I've been enjoying tunes from the late 1980s/early 1990s British band Ride.

Deradoorian - "Mind Raft" So insanely good, can't wait for the LP. Her DP songs were always the best ones & her solo work is even better.

Yup, thats right, another album of the year contender. One of those albums where when a major lable picks them up & releases the album it will make everyone's top ten list next year. But you should listen to it now because they rule & they are great live.

Derivative as all hell but still very enjoyable.

I don't know if that's what you meant or not. I agree with you, they are really great.

Wow, thats awesome I had no idea they were even signed let alone have a major new album coming out. I saw them in concert last year & just dug out a CD they were selling at the show. Great band, they will definitely be getting a lot of buzz.

Re: What are you listening to? [May 2010]
I just checked Amazon and it says mid-June, but M.I.A. (who owns the label Sleigh Bells are signed to), Sleigh Bells' official MySpace page, and all the music sites I go to say May 11. So - I'm not sure.
